A five minute ritual to relax your mind and reconnect with your body

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious or disconnected? Grounding Rituals help you return to the present moment, reconnect with your body, and gently restore your nervous system. Use this simple 5 minute ritual whenever you feel scattered or emotionally drained.


The Ritual

1. Find a Quiet Space

Sit or stand barefoot. Close your eyes if it feel safe to do so, or simple look down with a soft gaze.


2. Breathe Deeply (1 minute)

Inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 6.

Repeat 4–5 cycles.


3. Visualize Roots (2 minutes)

Imagine roots growing from your feet into the earth.

Feel the support beneath you. Breathe into that feeling.


4.Affirmation (Optional)

‘’I am safe. I am grounded, I am present’’

5.Gentle movement (1 minute)


Roll your shoulders, shake out tension or stretch gently

Feel the shift in your body
